Climate change worries coupled with high oil prices and increasing government support are fueling soaring rates of investment in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries. Moving to a full 25% of load by 2020 or 2025 requires creative thinking, and billions in research, development and deployment. What is likely to emerge? Solar, wind, wave, hydrogen, LNG?
